iLegent’s Privacy Policy

This Privacy and Security Policy (“privacy policy”) explains how iLegent collects and uses information that you may provide to iLegent by visiting, using, and/or submitting information to www.homebuyergo.com (the “Site”), and how iLegent uses that information in connection with the services provided by the Site (“the Service”). Please also refer to the Agreement of Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) for additional information on the conditions and terms for use of the Site.

 

 

1. Collection of Information

Certain areas and features of the Site are available without registration. However, other features of the Service may require registration, which involves provision to iLegent of an email address, log-in, and password (collectively the “registration information”). At no time will iLegent request personally identifiable information beyond an email address. iLegent will never ask you for your name, address, telephone number, or for financial account information.

·         Consumer Feedback and Blog: If you choose to provide feedback through any of the Site’s feedback tools or post comments and/or submit information to the Site’s blog, iLegent will collect and retain such information in order to provide customer support, resolve disputes, and troubleshoot problems as necessary. iLegent is not responsible for any personal information that you may choose to submit in these forums.

·         Forms: If you choose to fill in any forms and/or use the Site’s “Interview” features, iLegent will collect the data you input (including any value that you type into any of the text boxes on any of the pages and submit for analysis by pressing the “Update” button on any Site page) and may retain such data and information for use in accordance with this privacy policy and the Terms of Use.

·         Technical and Navigational Information: iLegent may collect technical and navigational information about your online session on the Site, including computer browser type, Internet protocol address, pages visited, and average time spent using the Service.

 

2. Use of Information

iLegent does not and will not sell your information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. iLegent uses Information only as follows:

·         Registration Information: Access to your registration information is restricted to iLegent employees and contractors, as needed, in order to operate, develop, or improve the Service. iLegent will use your registration information to deliver any administrative notices and service-related communications relevant to your use of the Service.

• Online Session Information: Information gathered during your online session using the Service includes technical and navigational information and information that you provide by filling out a form or using the Site’s “interview” features, as described above. Online session information will not contain any personally identifiable information and may be used for the following purposes:

o   To analyze site usage, troubleshoot technical problems, and improve the Site design and Service functionality;

o   To detect and protect against error, fraud or other criminal activity;

o   To alert you to any software compatibility issues;

o   To provide you with information on additional services and products that you may qualify for and for advertisement billing functions;

o   To track your user characteristics and demographics for market research and project planning;

o   To enforce the Site’s Terms of Use; and

o   As otherwise set forth in this Privacy and Security Policy.

 

3. Limited Disclosure of Information

iLegent may disclose your non- personally identifiable information under the following circumstances:

·         Disclosure to iLegent affiliates and advertisers: iLegent may aggregate your non-personally identifiable online session information with that of other Site users for marketing and promotional purposes. iLegent may share this aggregated online session information with its advertisers and affiliates in the form of: the date and time of your visit to the Site, specific pages of the Site that you visit, the location of your Internet service provider’s point of presence, the number of times you have viewed specific pages and used specific features of the Site, the number of times you have clicked on a Site advertisement, and any data or values that you provide by filling out a form or using the Site’s “interview” features, as described above.  iLegent may disclose this information in order to provide you with directed advertisement for mortgage, real estate, and other products that you may qualify for.

·         To Protect iLegent’s Rights or If Required by Law: Notwithstanding the foregoing, iLegent reserves the right to share or disclose your information, including your registration information, when iLegent determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary to prevent prohibited or illegal activities or is required by any applicable law, rule regulation, subpoena or other legal process.

 

4. Changes to Registration Information and Opt-out

iLegent will use your registration information to deliver any administrative notices and service-related communications relevant to your usage of the Service. iLegent may also use your registration information to provide you with non-administrative email alerts and informational newsletters.

·         Changing Your Registration Information: You may change or update your registration information at any time through the Service.

·         Opt-out: You have the ability to opt-out of receiving these non-administrative email alerts and informational newsletters by sending an email with “Unsubscribe” in the Subject Line to: mail@ilegent.com. Opt-out instructions will also be provided in the emails you receive.

Changing your registration information or opting out in this manner will not end transmission of administrative or service-related communications, such as email alerts.

 

5. Transfer of Information Upon Acquisition of iLegent

Your information, including registration information, may be transferred to a third party as a result of a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization or other transfer (a “Transfer”) involving iLegent. iLegent specifically reserves the right to transfer information collected from the Site to a third party in connection with a Transfer. Should such a Transfer occur, iLegent will provide you with email notification immediately prior to any Transfer and will use its best efforts to require that the new combined entity follow this Privacy and Security Policy.

 

6. Transport or deletion of Information

Any information that you provide through usage of the Site or registration with the Service may remain in iLegent’s databases, backup servers, or media indefinitely.

 

7. Confidentiality of Login ID and Password

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Login ID and Password. iLegent maintains strict rules, requiring a “7-digit with 1 non-alphanumeric” password, in order to help prevent others from guessing passwords.  iLegent recommends that you periodically change your password via the Service. If you believe that a Login ID or Password has been made known to others, you must change the Password immediately via the Service. iLegent is not responsible if someone else accesses an account through Registration Information they have obtained from you through a violation of this Privacy and Security Policy or iLegent’s Terms of Use. 

 

8. Updates and Changes to the Privacy and Security Policy

iLegent updates this Privacy & Security Policy periodically. The effective date appears at the

top of the privacy policy description. Any changes take effect immediately upon posting to the Site.
